Next Life 1.2 is a software virtual adventure game program that challenges players to discover, if the main character of the game is, in fact, dead and lives on in the Next Life. The Next Life 1.2 game has realistic graphics adding to the visual experience of this game. Players must collect and combine objects to help them solve the puzzles they came across during the game which opens with a fatal car crash after which the main character, Adam, finds himself marooned on a strange island. Is he alive, or is he dead? 20 hours of investigation may provide the answer to all of the questions that Adam is asking. The character of Adam is not alone when he finds himself on this strange island and he presumes the others are all stranded along with him until it becomes apparent that they are all from different parts of the world, and from different time periods of history. Adam is guided by players to explore the island in a search for the truth of the existence of life and on his journey, players must engage Adam in conversations with strange people, help him to solve logical puzzles, an scavenge for scraps. Errors of wrong turns taking in the game could cause the character of Adam to ‘die’ over and over again in many different ways. Next Life 1.2 has simple keyboard and mouse navigation.
